Dealing with depression can be very hard. Making a choice to deal with it by keeping your thoughts to yourself while sitting alone in a dark space focusing only on what makes you feel bad makes it harder. Life will never be only good times, but times can always be easier when we make a choice to get up and take advantage of opportunities to create happy memories even though we remember times of grief. Though we all will experience moments of grief, we do not have to let the moments of grief stop us from experiencing moments of happiness. It helps to find a safe place to start a discussion and express yourself while remembering to focus on some of the good times.
