Sometimes unexpected life experiences can change your family, health, or plans for the better or worse. The choices we make during theses times can do the same. I was recently in a bad accident. Let's just say my left foot lost a fight with a lawn mower. Did I hurt? Yes of course, but my perfect God remains with me. Though I received excellent care at the hospital, several people that saw the wound offered forms of opioids to help ease the pain that I should have been in. Fortunately they asked before just giving me the drugs a few times and respected my wishes for some Tylenol which knocked the edge off. Thank God I am back home now and still free from drugs and alcohol since June 2006. If you are struggling, don't give up on yourself. If God can help me, He can help you too.
