Wow, it's been almost 3 years since I was getting high. From time to time I see others that I used to drink and use drugs with and I feel a since of gratitude for the time I've been clean. I hope that somehow I will be able to show someone else that getting and staying clean is possible if a person is willing to seek and take advantage of help for themselves. Although the thought of using again has come across my mind from time to time I also think about how my time clean has helped repair some damage that occurred to family relationships while I was using and using again would not be worth loosing the progress I've made.
