Today, do not lie to yourself, telling yourself that no one cares, everyone is trying to bring you down, no one wants to help you or even want you around, or that you need to dress a certain way or bring something when you go to see someone. That's not true, reality is that we all sometimes lie to ourselves. Addicts however seem to take lying to themselves to a different level by trying to throw off the way we feel about ourselves onto others because in the back of our minds we acknowledge some of our mistakes even while we continue to blame others for the situation that we created. Today forgive yourself and then allow others to forgive you so that you can move forward in life.
